Joyful & Welcoming Origami Heart Garland
When the pandemic started and we entered into long periods of staying home, I worked with my girls to create a beautiful origami heart garland to share joy inside and outside our home.
A couple of years ago, I bought an origami kit for my daughter, Lydia. She quickly became an expert and created hundreds of origami gifts for her friends. One of her favorite easy folds is an origami heart. (I’m not exaggerating! She had a big plastic tote full of them!)
We worked together on this post to teach you how to create a happy origami heart garland for your window or wherever you want to add some happiness. We add extras to wall shelves for birthdays, Valentine's Day, and other celebrations.
Whether you are staying home or inviting friends in again, this happy little heart garland will add some fun and color to your home.
We styled them around our home in several different ways. Here are some ideas!
This is also an excellent craft to do with your kids! Big kids can likely make this on their own. We created the kind of how-to videos and step-by-step directions that my daughter likes and looks for, so hopefully, your teens can jump in and start adding joy to your home and neighborhood with this craft.
